Report on RubyWorld Conference 2023
The 15th “RubyWorld Conference 2023” was held on November 9 (Thursday) and 10 (Friday), 2023 at “Kunibiki Messe” in Shimane Prefectural Convention Center.

At this international conference, 30 people from domestic and overseas gave lectures with the aim of spreading Ruby in more fields through various sessions introducing business use cases related to Ruby and information on the latest technology. A cumulative total of 780 people attended in two days(see above for the details). There was also a vigorous discussion for further spread and development of Ruby through this conference.
Furthermore, starting from this fiscal year, the week including the dates of the three events Ruby biz Grand prix, RubyWorld Conference, and Ruby Prize was named “Ruby Week”. During this period, various related events were held as a campaign to express the values of “freedom, fun, and contribution to the community” that are alive in Ruby.
